An intro to Xero
July 6 @ 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Have you ever wondered what Xero is and how it could change the way you run your business? This is your chance to find out.
Come along to our free seminar to discover the key features of Xero and how it could help run your business finances.
What is Xero?
Xero is cloud (online/digital) based accountancy software. You can log-in from any device with an internet connection.
Why use Xero?
We have partnered with Xero since 2013 and have helped many clients transfer onto the software, providing set-up and training support. There are many reasons we chose to partner with Xero:
- You can connect your bank accounts, so it’s easy to reconcile your transactions.
- You can raise professional looking sales invoices quickly and easily.
- You can be paid online and automate your credit control.
- You can use add-on apps. like Dext, to cut your book-keeping time with automated data processing.
- You can see an up-to-date view of how your business is performing with standard and custom reports.
Making Tax Digital (MTD)
Another reason to take a look at Xero is MTD. Since 2019, VAT-registered businesses with a taxable turnover above the VAT threshold (£85,000) have been mandated to keep digital VAT records and send returns using MTD using compatible software.
From April 2022 these requirements will apply to all VAT-registered businesses, meaning any business who voluntarily registered under the taxable turnover threefold of £85,000 will be affected.
We will cover information on MTD in our seminar and talk through when you’ll be affected and how we can help implement Xero into your business.
If you would like more information about MTD then please check out our blog here
How much does Xero cost?
As Xero Platinum Partners we standardise the use of Xero by including a subscription in many of our accountancy packages. We have packages designed for all sizes of businesses, catering from lifestyle through to high growth. We will provide further information regarding our packages during our seminar.
