Workshop: Mental Health Awareness
An introduction to mental health issues in the work place. Presented by Phil Croney & Matthew Hoddinott.
We are extremely pleased to host Matthew and Phil on Thursday 23rd January. Running a small businesses can be challenging. It can often be a lonely experience and there isn’t much in the way of training for dealing with or recognising mental health issues. Matthew and Phil have designed this workshop to provide an introduction to awareness of mental health issues in the work place and understanding how to deal with them.
About Matthew & Phil

- 1st hand experience of Mental Health Issues in the work place
Phil has a diverse career background with time spent in frontline policing, sports therapy and private sector business. Today, Phil designs and delivers occupational and wellbeing consultancy services. He has a deep interest in human performance and mental health wellbeing. Phil is a qualified Mental Health First Aider and practitioner.
Matthew’s experience comes from the construction industry. He has worked in different parts of the world, on high-profile projects such as the London Olympic Games and The Glasgow Commonwealth Games. Matthew provides business development consultancy services, delivers lectures and pursues a portfolio of projects including mental health consultancy and training.
